Lawyer since 2004. His long-term focus is commercial law, judicial disputes and especially insolvency (bankruptcy) law, including cross-border cases. He has gained experience in many bankruptcy cases and related court disputes. He has been a partner of the ŽIŽLAVSKÝ law firm since 2009, where he leads a team caring for foreign clients of the firm. He speaks English and French.
He is one of the few experts in the Czech Republic to hold a special licence of the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic, authorising him to perform the function of the trustee in bankruptcy of large businesses, banks and financial institutions. He is an official partner and statutory representative of a legal entity that actively operates as a trustee in bankruptcy. He participates on court-mediated restructuring of many businesses under the new legislation.
As a barrister he is a member of the Czech Bar Association (ČAK) and the Council of Experts of the Association of Insolvency Administrators. He operates in the specialized sector of the ČAK for bankruptcy law. He is a member of the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic committee for examination of trustees in bankruptcy with a special licence.
